So, to keep ourselves safe, I think we should do at least two things like below. Firstly, we should obey the traffic rules whenever we are and even when we are in a deadly hurry. If everyone can do so, everything on the road will be in turn well. Secondly, we should ask ourselves and our relatives and friends to walk instead of riding or driving if possible, when the time is no enough, we must try to take a bus rather than drive a car. More vehicles will of course cause more traffic problems. Thats my ideas, I hope it is acceptable.

My brother and I were walking down the road， followed by the dog. I was carrying a cake to a friend. My brother is a football fan， he carried a ball in hand.
A car came toward us. I thought that both the dog and my brother were safe， but suddenly the ball fell off my brothers hand and rolled to the middle of the road. Our dog ran after the ball. My brother ran to save our dog. Luckily the driver saw this， and was able to stop the car in time.
