小王子英文读后感 (篇1)
This is a fairytale whose distribution volume is only second to The Bible. Its been translated to versions of many other languages. And I gather there must be something special, something really great about it. Its this conviction that drove me to read it at the first beginning. Well, with due respect to the author, I failed to see how this fairytale be worthy of our attention, despite the fact that many readers claimed this book to be designed for adults.
Anyway, as a well-acknowledged book, it must possess unique feature to maintain its position. And its reputation and popularity will by no means be destroyed by what an unknown man says. I will talk about the main contents of the book, and the inspiration it renders as usual.
This book mainly tells us the experience of a prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finally came to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. The prince and the pilot became good friends, and the pilot gradually got to know the feeling and experience of his friend. Before he came to the earth, little prince had been to other 6 little planets where he made acquaintance with some strange people.
The first man he met was a king on a little planet, yet he claimed to be the king of the space and ridiculously justified his unshakable governance over all. The second person was a man of vanity, who enjoyed compliments of any form without considering whether its sincere or not. The third person was an alcoholic who tried to forget the fact that hes addicted to acohol by drinking like a fish. The fourth person was an abosolute money-oriented businessman, who cared nothing but his fortune. Next came the lamp-lighter who performed his duty blindly. The last one was a geographer who knew too much about geography to solve a real problem related to it. These six people each represented one kind of person like us. The author satirized peoples conceit, emptiness, fakeness, innocence and blindness through the tone of a child.
I see eye to eye with the author in that the cause of peoples loneliness can be concluded to the negligence of the bonds that connects them. People are supposed to care about each other, cherish whats really important for them, and be grateful for the happiness that theyve gained. We all believe knowledge and experience enable us to see clearly and make right judgements all the time. But we may sometimes lose the right to speak straighforwardly, think creatively or love courageously resulting from what weve experienced. That why in our middle school textbooks, its the little kid that breaks the illusion of the emperor by saying ”but mum, he aint were anything”.
When I was a child, I was definitely a good boy who went home on time after school and did his homework and never tried anything without moms permission. And now I am a grown-up, and still I am a good man, at least, thats what I heard.
Sometimes when I was lonely and I began to think about my childhood, then all the happiness and care-free life came back to me as it were yesterday. Kids that once accompanied me during my childhood now become fathers and mothers of their kids and I myself am a child no more.
Thinking about all these things have made me moody. Therere changes happening in our lives whether we are happy about it or not. People told me life is a journey which will never stop once its started. Whats left behind are happiness and sorrow, pride and shame, success and regret. Theres good old time to reminisce and theres sad hours that reminds us of the pain. Your feeling makes them real, and you know you lived.
I want to conclude by saying some positive words that each yestersday used to be today, and each today is the future of yesterday, so making the most of today is the best way to cherish your lives. Our mortal beings are doomed to die. Its not sad, instead, death its just a process of our lives. After all, weve lived our lives and its what we do and how we think that determine who we are.

The little Prince lived in Asteroid B-612, The little Princes was delightful, helanghde and he wangtde a sheep. He had flower, The flower was very beautiful, He loved she very much, sheperfumed his planet and lit up hislife. But the flower was very proud and she liked telling lies,So the little prince, clespite all the good will of his love, had soon come to mistrust her. He had taken seriously certain in consequential remarks and had grown very unhappy. So he decide to leave his planet. He went to the vicinity of Asteroids 325.326.327:328.329 and 330, He meet many strangers. The first one was a king. He thought all men are subjeets.The second planet was inhabited by a very wain man to voin man, other people are admirerrs. The next planet was iahabited by a drunkard. The fourth planet belonged to a businessman, He was very busy, The fifth planet was very strange. It was the smallest of all. There was just enough room for a street lamp and a lamplighter. The planet revolves once a minute. The lamplighter must light his lamp and turn it out once every minute. The sixth planet was ten times bigger than the last. It was in habited by an old gentleman who wrote enormous books. The seventh planet was the earth. The earth is not just another planet. It contains one hundered and eleven kings seven thousand geographers nine hundered thousand businessmen saven and ahalf million drun kards three-hundered eleven million vain-men.
It makes me understand. The grow-ups aways need explanations. The gorw-ups like talk about bridge and golt and politics and neckties. Grow-ups like numbers,too. When you tellthem about a new friend,they never ask questions about what really matters. They never ask: What does his voice sound like? What games does he like best? “Does he collect butterflies?” They ask :“How old is he?” “How many blothers does he have?” “How much money does his father make?”
Read the book, I understand some principle. One sees clearly only with the heart, Anything essential is invisible to the eyes. Its the time you spent on someone that makes somebody so important.
People have stars, but they arent the same. For travelers, the stars are guides. For other people theyre nothing but tiny lights. And for still others, for scholars theyre problems. For businessman, they were gold. But all those stars are silent stars. We, though, we all have stars like nobady else.

The Little Prince is a tale for both children and adults. The Little Prince is the story of a man who crashes his airplane into the desert only to meet a traveling boy from a small planet. The boy inquires about trees and sheep, shares his journeys and various encounters, and then leaves. Yet, reading between the lines, the story offers a much more plex, eiching, satisfying and eye-opening moral: what matters in life is love - and caring about someone or something and maintaining that relationship. The prince loves his rose enough to care for it every night by protecting it with a glass globe and requesting a muzzle for his sheep. He knows that the rose is naive with only four purposeless thorns and, out of his loyalty to her, it is his duty to protect her. Likewise, the narrator loves the prince and feels an obligation to secure his safe journey home.
I read this book as a child and was infected with a sense of awe and a newfound respect for the written word and its power to touch, heal and change perception. For myself, it acplished two things; it instilled in me a desire to one day bee a writer and touch others with my words and like the narrator of the story, and Antoine De Saint-Exupery (whose own plane crash is said to have been the basis for the tale) it instilled within me a hope that one day the Little Prince will return and someone will let me know.
What is the meaning of this tale? Easily saying is that the tale talk about many normal things like morals and principles and values from two different but successive way as children and adults. As the narrator said you can only catch adults attention by describing the price of something or saying the number of something. Its hard to make adults feel lovely by the childrens beautiful describing. That is the reason why many adults believe this tale is a tale for adults.
Being insincere and utilitarian, adults consider useful and kids think sinful. Free spirit and free heart, adults consider absurd and children believe necessary. The amazing point is that these two different beliefs are held by one species--Human. When we were young, we could see anything God want us to see. But after decades, what we could see was only something we need to see.
There are so many good things for children and their imagination. And there are not so many things for adults and their reality.

The first time I opened the little prince, I stayed. Not because it is fresh and clear, but those paintings Perry St. Erik su. In the past year, I have received many painted villain cards, but until that day saw the little prince inside the same picture, I just know, originally those figurines and flowers has been and in such a sad fairy tale in the growth of.
Saint Exupery dedicated it to an adult, for he had children. "Every adult starts with being a child.". But how many more are there to remember?"
The city where I live is young and busy, and people always rush like toilets when they walk. Many people do not have time to stop and look at the sky or the sunset; no time to wait for a flower blossom Xie; no time to ask what the roadside low head child in thought; and have no time to write; no time to walk barefoot; no time to practice blowing bubbles with slobber.
"Little Prince" I finally found that there are so many things I neglected, so I have forgotten their former appearance.
We have complicated many of the simple things. We have to leave home, leave their parents, to another strange place to live. After that, we spend a lot of time each year running around in two or more different places, huddled together.
We heard someones words, we must think twice before, dare to conclude that no other word meaning.
Our existence requires many kinds of numerical proof. We take pride in taking up many different kinds of numbers.
We have simplified many complicated things. We have lost freshness and curiosity about the world, and we are accustomed to everything. But in fact, there are so many things in the world that we do not understand. There are too many things that are not as simple as we imagine. We just dont have any interest or time anymore.
"I have a lot of work to do!" This is the most ridiculous excuse Ive ever heard.

The first reading of the little prince was attracted by his fresh writing and pure world when he was in high school. Now six years later, read the "Little Prince", can not help but again and again to tears, and palpitation for Princes mind be sad, moved by his pure and persistent love, for his innocence and mourning gradually to disappear. Perhaps, a chastity story, no extraordinary circumstances, not what a feat only shaking heaven and earth, at that time my young heart gently cover mark, but after rolling in the six year of life, I realized: this dull and quiet beauty, is a return to gradually mature thinking the most eager.

Reading Report ——The Little Prince Im reading a book called The Little Prince written by Exupery,S. He was born in Lyon in 1900. He was a pilot during his early life. Unfortunately，he was died at the age of 44 in 1944 when he was carrying out the eighth flying mission. And The Little Prince was his most famous novel.
This novel tells the story of the little prince, who came from the asteroid known as B-612.The narrator met the little prince when he crashed in the desert. Little by little, he learned more about the prince from words dropped by chance. The planet was so small that nobody could go very far. As is seen to all, he owned a flower and three volcanoes. Apparently, he was very earnest, honest and stubborn. Every time he put forward a question, you cant ignore it and must answer it instantly to satisfy his curiosity. Dont want to walk through these questions seemed boring and meaningless. Because they were more important than how much your salary is. Meanwhile, we cannot overlook another character——the flower loved by the little prince. It seems ridiculous that he fell in love with a flower, but their true love is moving in fact. At first, he was attracted by her charming appearance. However, she begun very quickly to
torment him with her vanity. Gradually, he had soon come to doubt her. Finally, they broke up, which had taken him to the earth. But he still could not forget his lover all the time.
The most memorable matter is that people could not understand the narrators first drawing until he drew out every detail. It was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. To his disappointment, they thought it was a hat. And after several times of modification, these grown-ups made out his idea in the end. But the little prince could understand this picture at the beginning. In a conclusion, I think it is because grown-ups are short of imagination and their thoughts are complicated. Their hearts are not pure any more. This impressed me a lot is when you praise a beautiful house, these grown-ups cannot imagine how wonderful it is unless you tell them the house costs $20,000. Theres no denying that it is a very sad truth, however, also a common phenomenon. The reason is so clear that everybody knows it. What can it be except for their money worship? Although they might know it is bad, they never want to change the actuality because the temptation seems impossible to resist. As a result, they become complicated and only care about money. They used to be pure, but the realistic world has changed them greatly. Of course, we cannot
shift the responsibility onto them, because thats it all the time. We must make up our mind to change the current situation thoroughly. Do not just pay attention to money is very important, and also hard to carry out.
I think this book is written for adults instead of children. On account of the deep meanings between the lines, innocent children maybe cannot undersand it very well. So the author asked the indulgence of the children who may read this book for dedicating it to a grown-up. In my opinion, this book is good for those grown-ups who have lost their childishness. I hope they can find themselves by reading this novel.
In a word, this book is worth reading.
