一听到英语单词,每一个学生都会感到头疼。但有个理念是“只要努力,一切接皆有可能。”
一天,又到了英语课。这时候小明是胆战心惊,因为他并没有把一个单词完完整整地记住。但又令他们不幸的是,今天老师来了个突然袭击——单词大抽查。“小明,上讲台上去听写。”老师一声喊到,这时候似乎他的心都已经凉了一大截。他慢吞吞地走上去,他是多么想回到没被抽到时。站在讲台上时,他的双腿是抖个不停。但在写单词时,手更是抖个不停。不一会儿,一些乱糟糟的单词在他的笔下写出。“啊,他看着自己写的单词心想到,今天可真的是完玩了。”老师一看他写的单词,似乎头上都冒着火星。但小明可够机灵,主动地把手给伸出来。虽然他怕被老师打手心,但他想到是自己没去记。他是认识到自己的错误才主动伸出手的。老师打了他两板,他咬紧双牙,眼泪没流下来。
从此以后,他就开始发奋地学习。每天晚上学到学校寝室关灯都还不肯休息,就在走廊里读上一个小时的单词。早上,不知他什么时候他又从温暖的被窝里爬了起来,把单词读了一个小时才到教室里去早读。
他开始对英语如痴如迷,空闲时都把单词挂在嘴边。英语似乎已经融入了他的生活里。如果英语一下子不存在的话,他就会像生了病一样。
从此以后,他再也没被老师批评过了。而且他还成了他们班上的一个英语高手。
